Blessed is he who walks in the way of the Lord
or,as it says so well in psalm one,
blessed is the one who does not walk in the way of the wicked
So then, what does it mean to be blessed?
Later in the psalm it says 
he will be like a tree planted by streams of water
it grows its fruit at the right season
and the leaves of that tree shall not wither
WHATEVER THEY DO PROSPERS

Noelly is a godly man
he has no real hate or disdain for anyone and he is the kindest person I know
God rewards him richly,though, he waited long for his blessings to come
well those that he enjoys presently
he has lost family due to illness
he has cared for his loved ones
and he never complains but praises God
this is what a godly man is as in the psalm
